Short Description:

In the role of the AWS Support Lead, you will be working on AWS Projects involving infrastructure operations support activities and related automation. You should have experience in AWS Cloud Infrastructure Ops support & ticketing tools (ServiceNow & Jira Service Desk). You will be a part of teams that contribute to project processes, deliverables. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 8 yrs. hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Infrastructure Support Operations activities (EC2, S3, VPC, Security Group, Glacier, SSL Certificate Management, Patching, Backup, Monitoring, resolving AWS infra support tickets, etc.)
  • Excellent understanding of AWS Services / components with experience in multiple projects
  • Very good analytic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness within key stakeholders in client org
  • AWS Certification – AWS Certified Sys Ops Admin
  • Experience in automating cloud infrastructure using any of the automation technologies/tools (Python/PowerShell/Terraform/Ansible etc.)
  • Work on L2/L3 support related tasks/tickets.
  • Manage escalated and priority tickets
  • Server (Windows & Linux) Administration
  • User access management
  • Build and maintain Standard Operating Environment (SOE)
  • Perform root cause analysis for major incidents
  • Review the periodic audit reports, identify the compliance issues, vulnerabilities and work on plan towards closure of these open actions in coordination with client teams.

  • Resize / recycle the EC2 instances
  • Provide storage management services including planning, deployment, management, reporting of storage services EBS, EFS, S3 etc.
  • Maintain runbooks & knowledgebase
  • Deploy requested changes
  • Worked on AWS PaaS Service like RDS, S3
  • SSL Certificate Management
  • AMI Base-lining and Golden Image management
  • Understanding of the tools among - Packer, Datadog, PRISMA, Sentinel, Apptio, Aviatrix

Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud Industry trends and AWS vs other cloud platform feature capabilities
  • Understanding AWS partner ecosystems
  • Excellent hands-on experience on AWS IAM Roles and Policies. Must understand the fundamentals of AWS STS service.
  • Experience in Managing delivery in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources

Additional Skills:
  • Strong Communication & Management skills and, expertise in Onsite/offshore and Client coordination.
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
